These rules cover the MetropolitanHost Creator Prize (the “Promotion”), run by MetropolitanHost, Brooklyn, New York (“we”, “us”). By sending an entry you agree to them. The short version is in the table; the sections below are the full rules.

1. The prize
Each month we award one prize of US $200, paid by PayPal. No other prize, cash alternative or transfer is offered.
2. Who can enter
- Anyone 18 or older with a MetropolitanHost account who is an active member of the MetropolitanHost affiliate program.
- Our employees, contractors and the people who live with them cannot enter.
- No purchase is necessary to enter or win: joining the affiliate program is free. Void where prohibited by law.
3. How to enter
- Publish a YouTube video or a public article that features at least one MetropolitanHost product (a template, a theme, a bundle or an AI Smart Website).
- Include your own MetropolitanHost affiliate link to the featured product: in the first lines of the video description, or in the body of the article.
- Send the link of your video or article, and the link of the product you featured, from the Work with us page while signed in.
- Each different product you feature is one entry. Featuring the same product again in the same round does not add an entry. One creator can have up to 30 entries in a round.
4. Rounds and monthly draws
- Entries count in rounds of three months: January to March, April to June, July to September and October to December. When a round ends, every creator starts again from zero.
- Each month we draw one winner at random from all eligible entries of the current round, so entries sent earlier in a round keep counting in its later months. More entries mean more chances.
- A monthly draw takes place only when at least 10 different creators have eligible entries in the round. If fewer creators have entered, there is no draw that month; the prize is not carried over.
- A creator can win once per round.
5. What makes an entry eligible
- Videos need at least 500 views on the day of the draw. Videos with fewer than 500 views are not considered for that month’s draw.
- Articles must be publicly reachable, open to search engines, at least 500 words long and mainly about the featured product.
- The video or article must stay public for at least 90 days after you send it.
- Your affiliate link must be clearly disclosed, for example with “affiliate link” next to it, as US Federal Trade Commission rules require.
- The content must be your own and made in good faith: the real product shown, honest claims, and no bought views, bots, spam, or anything that breaks YouTube’s or the hosting site’s rules. Entries that fail this are removed, and the affiliate account may be closed.
6. Recommended: how to make your promotion work
These are not required, but entries that follow them help your audience, bring you more commissions and are the ones we like to share.
- Use the template’s name and its industry in your title, for example “Cannaweed review: a cannabis dispensary website template”.
- Show the live demo on screen for at least 30 seconds and explain what it does for that kind of business.
- Put your affiliate link in the first line of the description, pin it in a comment, and add chapters to your video.
- In articles, use the product name in a heading, include screenshots and mark your affiliate links with rel=“sponsored”.
- Feature several products, from different industries or formats: each one is another entry and another way to earn.
7. Winners and payment
- We email the winner at their account address within 7 days after the month ends. The winner has 14 days to reply with their PayPal address; if they don’t, we draw another winner.
- We pay the prize by PayPal in US dollars within 14 days of the reply. Taxes on the prize are the winner’s responsibility, and we may ask for a tax form where the law requires it.
- We may name the winner and show their video or article on our website and social media.
8. General
- We may check view counts and content at any time and disqualify entries that break these rules. Our decisions on eligibility and draws are final.
- We may change or end the Promotion by updating this page; entries already sent keep the rules that applied when they were sent.
- This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or run by YouTube, Google or any other platform.
- We use your details only to run the Promotion, as described in our Privacy Policy. Questions: contact us.
