Illustra is a website template for artists: a bright, storybook HTML5 template for an illustration and concept-art studio of several artists working for game studios and publishers. Every piece sits on its own flat pastel plate, set edge to edge. Lato titles and EB Garamond artwork titles, ink pills and one plum accent keep it calm around the art. Underneath it runs real studio logic: an estimate builder that prices characters, environments and props by complexity and turnaround with extras, a volume discount, a deposit and a delivery date from the artists’ own queues.

The roster filtered by style. Licensing by use, territory, term and print run with a licence library, bag and checkout, projects by client. And an artist application in five steps. It ships with a light and a dark theme and right-to-left support. It also has a currency switch and a WebGL Perspective Guides layer – a painter’s vanishing-point lines drifting slowly behind the bands.

Three Home Pages

• Home 01 – The Studio: a cream story slider with a character on its shadow and cut-outs floating round it. Then come the studio at its long table, the selected work as joined pastel plates with category tabs, the paint-over – a grey blockout takes flats, shadows, light and effects stroke by stroke as you scroll while the layers panel lights each layer – six kinds of work. Finally, the page ends with a live estimate on the plum band, the artists, clients and quotes, and the journal.
• Home 02 – Games & Concept Art: a white side panel, full-bleed concept paintings with giant capitals, the plum character band with the cast standing in line, the joined character plates, three colour columns with their prices, the depth planes – a valley comes apart into sky, mountains, castle, wood and foreground as you scroll, then settles back – a 3D creature with the studio’s live booking bars, game projects, licensing for games and the games team.
• Home 03 – Books & Covers: the logo between the halves of the menu, a centred EB Garamond title over a storybook character with floating toys and a round badge with the next free start. Then comes the shelf of books and cover series. Finally, the page ends with the colour script – twenty-four frames fill with their colour keys beat by beat as you scroll – a split-screen licence for publishers, the book team with the open calls, quotes and the journal.

Studio, Estimate & Licensing Pages

• Estimate Builder: counts and complexity for each asset type, turnaround, a style that picks the artists, and extras, with the total, the breakdown, the deposit, the start and the delivery date changing as you go.
• Start A Project: five steps – the project, the pieces (carried over from the estimate), style and references with an upload, schedule and budget, your details. Continue never blocks; only Send checks the details.
• The Artists / Artist Profile: seven artists filtered by five styles, searched and sorted by the week each one is free or by day rate. A profile with the artist’s work and booking.
• Licensing By Use / Licence Library / Licence Details: a terms table and a calculator. It also has a library of finished pieces with a price ceiling and sort. Finally, it has a licence page for one piece with its terms.
• Licence Bag, Checkout & Wishlist: each piece with its terms, a coupon and tax by billing region. Checkout with an order number, the saved pieces.
• Projects By Client / Project Details: ten projects for six clients with client tabs, and two project layouts – big plates, and a split screen with the paintings in passes.
