How the program works
- Join for free. Sign in or create a MetropolitanHost account, open My Account → Affiliate program and accept the terms. Your referral link is ready immediately, and your $50.00 welcome bonus is already in your balance.
- Copy your link. Add
?ref=your-codeto any MetropolitanHost address — a single template, a format such as WordPress themes, an industry hub or the whole template catalog. The link builder in your dashboard does it for you. - Share it where it helps. Tutorials, reviews, resource lists, newsletters, YouTube descriptions and client recommendations all work.
- Get paid. When someone you referred buys as a new customer, 30% of what they paid for templates and bundles is credited to you. Once your available balance reaches $200.00, request a payout and we send it to your PayPal account.
What you earn: real prices, real commissions
Commissions are calculated on what the customer actually pays, after discounts and before tax. These examples use catalog prices during the October 2026 sale:

A worked example: refer ten new customers who each buy a WordPress theme at the average price, and you earn 10 × $17.84 = $178.40. It is an estimate, not a promise: prices change and only real purchases earn commission.
Your $50.00 welcome bonus
Every new affiliate starts with $50.00 in their balance the moment they join. The bonus counts toward the $200.00 payout minimum and is paid together with your commissions; it cannot be withdrawn on its own. There is one bonus per person, and we remove it from accounts that break the program rules.
Getting paid
- Referral window: your link sets a 90-day cookie. If several affiliate links are clicked, the last one gets the sale.
- Refund window: each commission becomes available 30 days after the purchase, once our refund window has passed. Refunded, cancelled or failed orders earn nothing; a partial refund lowers the commission to match.
- Minimum payout: $200.00 of available balance, welcome bonus included.
- Method: PayPal. Add your PayPal email in your dashboard, click Request payout, and we send it within 10 business days.
- Tracking: your dashboard shows link clicks, customers referred, pending and available commissions, payouts, and every commission with its order number.
What counts as an eligible purchase
Templates and developer bundles in every format — HTML5, React, Vue.js, Angular, WordPress, PHP, Laravel and AI Smart Websites — bought by a customer who has not bought from MetropolitanHost before. If that customer buys again while your referral is still active, that order counts too. Studio services and order add-ons such as extended support or installation are not commissionable, and neither are purchases made with your own account or email address.
