What's in the box.
Silvera gives a photo zine and collective a Tailwind CSS 4 site that handles real publishing work: open calls with deadlines, submissions, issues with print runs, launch nights and a shop. The page set suits a publication that prints other photographers’ street and documentary work. Silvera is a Tailwind CSS design for photographers template, written for an independent photo zine and collective that prints other people’s street and documentary work, runs open calls and hangs prints in its own project space.
The look is black-and-white photography with highlighter yellow on white and ink, in Roboto and Courier Prime.
Tailwind CSS Design for Photographers Template: Home Pages and Inner Pages
This Tailwind CSS design for photographers template ships with 32 pages and 3 home page designs, so a collective can start from the layout closest to how it works.
- Home 01, The Zine: a full-screen black-and-white slider, the new issue, the back catalogue of twelve covers, the open-call board, contributors, stockists and the journal.
- Home 02, Open Calls: calls as numbered framed photographs, the next deadline counting down, the fee calculator and work published from the calls.
- Home 03, The Collective: a yellow-framed slider of shows, the next launch night with places left, a wall of contributor portraits, the project space and the subscription.
Open Calls and Submit Your Work Pages
Open calls matter most here, because they bring in the work the zine prints. The Open Calls page lists 5 calls, from issues and a window show to a grant. Each call opens, closes and is judged on dates worked out from the day the visitor opens the page. Tabs split them into open, closing soon, upcoming and judging, and a live countdown runs to the next deadline. A fee calculator sits alongside.
Submit Your Work has five steps. The visitor picks the call, then adds the series with a title, statement and frames up to the call’s limit. After that come details about the photographer and the fee. A subscriber’s first series is free, and students pay half. A review step shows a live summary and a reference number. Continue never blocks, and only Submit checks the form.
Issues, Subscriptions and Contributors
The Issues page lists 12 issues by year with search, page counts, print runs and copies left. Sold-out issues are marked. An issue page opens its spreads in a lightbox and shows its photographers and launch night.
Subscribe offers three plans, priced with postage for Germany, the EU or the world. Each plan shows the first issue and the price per issue. The Work page holds 12 series, and Contributors lists the four editors and every photographer by city, each with a profile page.
Exhibitions, Launch Nights and the Zine Shop
Exhibitions and Nights shows the current show and past ones. Launch nights, portfolio reviews, photo walks and a zine fair follow their own repeat rules, and a guest list takes names off the places left.
The Zine Shop sells back issues, limited prints priced by size, postcards, a poster, a tote and a slipcase. Shipping is set by zone, with free EU shipping over €60.
What Tailwind CSS 4 Does for These Pages
Only the classes these pages use reach the compiled CSS, so unused styles do not ship. Colors, fonts and spacing live in the Tailwind theme, so changing the yellow or the type size once reaches the shop, the calls and the issue pages together. Hover and focus states sit in the markup next to the base styles, which makes the highlighter hover on titles easy to find and adjust.
The download holds the finished pages, which open as they are. The Tailwind source is included for anyone who wants to edit and rebuild the styles. Neutral placeholders replace the preview images. Documentation is included, and Font Awesome Free is loaded locally.
