From today, the MetropolitanHost Affiliate Program pays an affiliate commission of 40% of every eligible purchase made by the new customers you refer — up from 30%. Nothing else about the program changes: you still start with a $50.00 welcome bonus, your link still sets a 90-day cookie, and payouts still go to PayPal once your available balance reaches $200.00.
We raised it because affiliates send us the customers who stay: people who read a tutorial, a review or an agency recommendation before they buy. A bigger share for the people doing that work is the simplest way to say thank you.
What changes
- Commission: 40% (was 30%) of what new customers pay for templates and developer bundles, after discounts and before tax.
- When: every purchase recorded from today. Commissions recorded before today keep the 30% rate they were recorded at.
- Unchanged: the $50.00 welcome bonus, the 90-day referral window, the 30-day refund window before a commission is payable, the $200.00 minimum payout and PayPal payouts.
- Nothing to do: existing affiliates keep their links and codes; the new rate applies automatically.
What you earn now
Commissions are calculated on what the customer actually pays. These examples use catalog prices during the October 2026 sale:
| Purchase | Price | Before (30%) | Now (40%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quickmunch developer bundle (6 formats) | $251.20 | $75.36 | $100.48 |
| Average developer bundle | $130.31 | $39.09 | $52.12 |
| Average WordPress theme | $59.47 | $17.84 | $23.79 |
| Average React template | $23.52 | $7.06 | $9.41 |
| Average HTML5 template | $14.42 | $4.33 | $5.77 |
A worked example: refer ten new customers who each buy a WordPress theme at the average price and you earn 10 × $23.79 = $237.90. Add your $50.00 welcome bonus and your balance is $287.90, past the $200.00 payout minimum. It is an estimate, not a promise: prices change and only real purchases earn commission. The affiliate page has a calculator for your own numbers.
