Kinora is a video production website template: an editorial HTML5 template for a film and video production company that makes commercials, music videos and documentary. White paper, ink, giant Inter capitals with an italic serif word, hairline rules and a single tungsten accent keep it as quiet as a cutting room. Underneath, it runs real production logic: a shoot estimate that multiplies shoot days by crew size and adds the camera package. It also has the edit and the grade and a six-step brief with the estimate beside it.

In addition, it has a production board that works out where every film is today. Finally, it has the work by type, the showreel by timecode, the crew, the kit list and a client review room where notes are pinned to the frame. It ships with a light and a dark theme and right-to-left support. It also has a currency switch and WebGL layers – 35 mm film grain with light leaks, and a film reel turning in an ASCII shader in the footer.

Three Home Pages

• Home 01 – The Studio: two tall strips of stills beside a huge three-line title. Then come a three-slide hero with the film’s caption and what is on set today, the numbered services with their day rates, the work in stepped tiles, The Cut – the showreel’s clips drop and snap onto the tracks of an edit timeline as you scroll while the playhead runs and a program monitor shows the frame – the studio in figures. Finally, the page ends with the day-rate units, the crew in vertical slices, the journal, featured films and contact.
• Home 02 – The Reel: a giant two-line title over a centred still slider. Then come the work cascading down the page by kind, Every Film, Its Frame – one picture widens from the square Academy frame to flat and to anamorphic scope as the section travels – a shoot estimate in a minute. Finally, the page ends with the reel cut by cut and client words.
• Home 03 – On Set: a split hero with the night column and two overlapping stills. Then comes the production board of four films with their stage and day. Finally, the page ends with Push Into The Set – a dolly push through a layered set, a flag, a fresnel, a chair and a doorway, onto the frame beyond – the kit list by category, the crew, how we work, the brief and the first questions.

Production Pages

• Shoot Estimate: the kind of film, shoot days, crew size, camera package, edit days, grade and extras, with a live total, the cost per shoot day and a bar of where the money goes. Save it to the account or send it as a brief.
• Start A Project: six steps – the film, the dates, the crew and kit, the post, your details, the summary – with the live estimate beside them. Continue never blocks; only Send checks the details, and the brief gets a reference.
• Day Rates: the Documentary Unit, the Music Video Day and the Commercial Unit, priced per shoot day by the same engine, and the full rate card.
• Our Work & Three Project Layouts: sixteen films with type tabs and search. A commercial with wide stills and its deliverables, a music video on a still rail with behind-the-scenes frames, a documentary with chapters by timecode and a gallery.
